Job Title: Technical Officer in Geophysics We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Officer to join our team at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to technical aspects across the School of Cosmic Physics, maintaining and calibrating advanced equipment, managing inventories, supporting training, and participating in field campaigns both nationally and internationally.

The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues independently.

About the Role: Maintain and calibrate complex geophysical equipment including land-based sensors and deep-sea monitoring systems; Manage inventory levels and ensure that all necessary tools are available; Support training programs for colleagues on operation of geophysical equipment; PARTICIPATE IN FIELD CAMPAIGNS BOTH NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY;
