Barden are delighted to have been asked to act on behalf of an Irish PLC business to support the appointment of a Senior Commercial Finance Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
* Manage the commercial finance activities for the group, providing insight and financial guidance to senior management on the profitability and financial performance of the business.
* Manage commercial and pricing models to improve profitability and performance analysis across the teams.
* Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the management team, offering commercial insights to shape business decisions.
* Demonstrate sound commercial judgement and decisive decision-making.
* Drive initiatives to enhance financial processes, systems, and tools. Implement best practices for financial reporting, analytics, and decision support, ensuring continuous improvement and increased efficiency.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
* Accounting qualification with a minimum of 5-8 years post-qualified experience.
* Managed small teams.
* High level of drive and self-motivation
* Strong commercial acumen, able to articulate the numbers to non finance people.
Working across all business types, but exclusively within the accounting, finance & tax community, Barden exists to share bespoke advice, guidance and support to professionals along each step of their career journey.
