With strong growth and a reputation for innovation, we are now seeking a manufacturing foreman to lead our production team and ensure smooth, efficient operations on the factory floor.
The Role
As Manufacturing Foreman, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the manufacturing workshop. You'll coordinate a team of skilled fabricators, fitters, and technicians, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead, supervise, and motivate workshop staff to meet production schedules and quality standards.
* Organize workflow, allocate tasks, and monitor progress against targets.
-Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
-Troubleshoot issues with machinery, equipment, and production processes.
-Work closely with engineering, design, and management teams to resolve challenges.
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
* Maintain accurate records of production, staff performance, and workshop KPIs.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a foreman/supervisory role within manufacturing, ideally agricultural, engineering, or heavy machinery sectors.
* Strong technical background in fabrication, fitting, or mechanical assembly.
-Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams.
-Solid understanding of manufacturing principles and workshop safety standards.
-Ability to read technical drawings and coordinate complex builds.
-Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
