Due to continuing expansion, Payslip is looking for a driven and talented Business Development Representative to join our growing Sales team.
As a Business Development Representative, you will source new business opportunities, analyse client prospects specific needs, research and report on competitor offerings and market trends. You will help to educate prospects about our digital platform and services, answer any initial queries they may have, and book qualified meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Account Research & Targeting: Conduct detailed research on target accounts, identifying key decision-makers and understanding their pain points around global payroll management,
* Outbound Prospecting: Execute highly personalized and strategic outreach using email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to engage with key personas (reaching out to HR, Finance, Payroll Executives, and Global Operations Leaders)
* Pipeline Generation: Create, manage, and qualify leads in our CRM (HubSpot), working towards booking discovery meetings between enterprise companies and Payslip’s Account Executive team,
* Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Work closely with the Account Executive and Marketing teams to align outbound efforts with marketing campaigns, events, and industry trends,
* Event planning & outreach: Leverage and attend industry events, conferences, webinars, and other marketing-driven opportunities to connect with prospects,
* CRM tracking & reporting: Track your outreach efforts, pipeline growth, and activity within Hubspot and other tools
Key Skills & Experience:
* 1+ yrs experience in an outbound-focused Enterprise Business Development role in SaaS, FinTech or Payroll industry preferred, or similar Customer Facing/Sales role considered ,
* Degree qualified in Business, Technology or relevant industry experience,
* Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on phone and video calls, Linkedin conversation and email outreach,
* Proficient in CRM Tools: Experience using HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and other CRM/outreach tools to manage lead lists and create personalized sequences,
* Research & Analytical Skills: Ability to research target companies, industries, and competitors, and use this information to craft personalized outreach strategies,
* Self-Starter: Driven, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced. Ability to ask lots of great questions and willing to be outside your comfort zone is a strong plus
* Payroll, HCM or global workforce systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle) industry knowledge and experience considered a plus but not required.
