About Your New Job as a Leisure Centre Manager
Oversee the daily operations of the leisure centre, ensuring facilities are safe, clean, compliant, and running efficiently.
Lead, train, and manage leisure centre staff, including scheduling, performance management, and ongoing development.
Deliver exceptional customer service by enhancing guest and member experiences and resolving queries professionally.
Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, including pool safety, emergency procedures, and maintenance records.
Manage budgets, drive revenue growth through memberships and services, and support sales and marketing initiatives.
What Skills You Need
Proven leadership experience in leisure, fitness, or hospitality environments, with strong team management and customer service skills.
Qualified in lifeguarding/pool emergency response and pool plant operations, with solid knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision‑making abilities, with a customer‑focused and financially aware approach.
Additional strengths include first aid, fitness or personal training qualifications, and experience using membership or booking systems.
