Director of Nursing Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead the management of our nursing home. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care and services to our residents.
About the Role:
The Director of Nursing will be accountable for all aspects of care and services, including clinical and operational management. They will assume responsibility for the management of all staff within the nursing home and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.

* Day-to-day management of the nursing home
* Quality of Care Responsibilities
* Management of HIQA regulations
* Health & Safety
Candidate Requirements:
* Registered with NMBI
* Previous experience in designated centre management
* Relevant qualifications or accredited training
* Excellent Clinical, Leadership and Organisational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Sound decision making ability
Education:
* Level 8 in Healthcare Management or Level 9 with a module in management in line with updated Health Act requirements
