Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Solutions Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with Digital teams to design, develop, and implement automation solutions for DeltaV Systems.
About the Role
1. Create user requirements for DeltaV modules
2. Review and approve related design documentation
3. Partner with local site project teams to scope changes on the DeltaV system
4. Participate in Agile sprint teams for software development
5. Contribute to commissioning and qualification activities, including FATs, loop testing, onsite commissioning and testing
6. Follow the SDLC Procedure to implement changes (covering RS updates, RTM Change control, Implementation and test)
7. Educate local project teams on automation standards as they relate to technology selection, system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments and business processes.
8. Collaborate with internal Digital departments ensuring standard and secure implementation in line with MSD Standards
9. Requirements
* BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree
* Training completed in DeltaV standard and batch
* 3 or more years of experience in DeltaV application
* Proven record of proficiencies associated with business analysis on capital projects
* Excellent understanding of cGMP's, SDLC methodologies and LEAN/MPS/ Sigma principles
* Excellent facilitation, problem solving, and decision-making skills
* Demonstrated ability to analyze and define business problems, develop business cases, and identify appropriate process and technological solutions is essential
* Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams
The usual place of work will be MSD Ballydine, Ireland. This is a site-based role. The successful candidate may sometimes be required to attend meetings at Vendor premises or other MSD sites as required. Experience commissioning DeltaV systems in GMP manufacturing facilities
