Are you excited by the ideaof creating content that sparks engagement and builds community?We're seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our small but passionate team.You'll report to the Head of Marketing, Communications & Admissions, working across digitaland traditional channels to:Grow our platforms and audiences,Share the authentic stories of our students and staff,Support admissions and community events,Bring fresh ideas to how we connect with families in Ireland and abroad.This is a role where no two days are the same—you could be filming a hockey match, editing areel, brainstorming campaign ideas, tweaking SEO, or capturing behind-the-scenes momentsfrom a school play.It's a chance to learn, experiment, and build your skills in digital advertising, SEO, contentcreation, and campaign management while making a real impact in a unique environment.What You'll DoOwn and grow our social media channels with creative, engaging content.Capture authentic stories from around the school—photos, videos, blogs, reels.Experiment with formats and trends to boost reach and engagement.Keep our website fresh and user-friendly, with an eye on SEO and UX.Support school events by creating content before, during, and after.Collaborate with staff and students to bring their achievements to life.Work alongside brand, web development, and digital advertising agencies, as wellas professional photographers and videographers.Track and analyse performance, sharing insights to shape future campaigns.Stay curious—spot opportunities on emerging platforms and new trends.What We're Looking ForSome proven marketing experience (agency, in-house, freelance, or even stronginternships).A 3rd-level qualification in marketing, communications, or digital media—or equivalentpractical experience.A natural storyteller who enjoys people as much as pixels.Strong digital skills: Canva/Adobe, video/photo editing, WordPress, MailChimp, socialscheduling tools.Confidence with planning, organisation, and admin (we need someone who can keepcampaigns and content on track).A self-starter who's proactive, curious, and not afraid to try new ideas.An eye for design and detail, matched with excellent writing and communication skills.What Will Make You Stand OutA portfolio or examples of your work—Instagram Reels, TikToks, blogs, campaigns—where your creativity really shines.Experience in SEO, digital ads, or growing platforms.A collaborative, can-do mindset: you thrive on working with people and bringing theirideas to life.Why Join Us?This is a unique chance to develop your career in marketing while working in a creative,supportive environment.
