Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:00; Friday 08:00 - 15:00
Responsibilities
Ensures the smooth running of the site, adhering to the Site Service Level Agreement and Services Specification
Supervise and investigate the quality and standard of cleaning services provided at client sites, and assist the Cleaning Manager
Assist the Cleaning Manager in supervising cleaning staff, including allocation of workloads, monitoring progress and performance, determining work priorities, focusing on productivity and quality control
Assist in undertaking site cleaning audits and controlling and monitoring use of appropriate cleaning materials
Control and monitor use of cleaning equipment, arrange repair or renewal, and recommend to the Cleaning Manager
Carry out stock checks on equipment and materials as required
Arrange and carry out induction and on-the-job training for cleaning staff, in accordance with company practices
Conduct recruitment of cleaning employees in conjunction with Cleaning Manager, per company practices
Organise provision of relief/holiday cover for cleaning staff as required, with Cleaning Manager
Authorise, allocate and record cleaning staff absences, in conjunction with Cleaning Manager
Perform ad hoc duties and other related tasks as assigned by Cleaning Manager
Have excellent communication skills for professional discussions in meetings and frequent liaison with contract parties
Have excellent organisational and management skills
Be an efficient motivator and leader with good problem‑solving skills and flexibility required for the role
Qualifications and experience
Good work record
Excellent computer literacy essential for administrative purposes
Experience of using cleaning equipment
