As Electrical Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of full electrical scopes on a variety of complex builds.
This role involves overseeing the design, pre-construction planning, site implementation, commissioning, and handover of electrical packages—while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and commercial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all electrical elements from early planning through to final client handover.
Ensure regulatory compliance, including current industry standards and national electrical guidelines.
Lead and coordinate on-site teams, including direct labour and subcontractors.
Manage technical submissions, design coordination, and quality documentation.
Implement and monitor health & safety practices and environmental procedures.
Maintain programme timelines and manage budgets to deliver profitable outcomes.
Provide leadership on testing, commissioning, and certification processes.
Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Participate in procurement planning for materials and plant requirements.
Support weekly progress meetings and reporting cycles.
Requirements:
5+ years in a similar role within the construction or industrial electrical sector.
Electrical trade qualification and/or relevant third-level education.
Strong project planning and resource management capabilities.
Familiarity with electrical testing procedures and regulatory frameworks.
Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and related tools.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Track record of delivering medium to large-scale electrical installations.
Experience with safety-focused environments and procedures.
