Field Service Technician Mechatronic Ireland & UK
In this varied and responsible position, your technical know-how is required, when it comes to technical service support for our highly complex and interesting high-tech packaging, handling and inspection machines.
Your role in our team
Independent execution of various service work such as maintenance, troubleshooting, machine and process optimization as well as extensive retrofitting work and upgrades on our packaging machines at our customers worldwide
Internal commissioning and customer acceptance of our machines in cooperation with the assembly department
Construction and commissioning of our packaging lines up to and including qualification and final acceptance at the customer's site
Training of customer personnel
Your profile
You are good at communication and have a confident and competent demeanor when dealing with our customers.
Thanks to your independent, analytical and solution-oriented way of working, you are happy to face any challenge.
Completed apprenticeship as a mechatronics engineer, electrical engineer or polymechanic
Professional experience as a service technician
Experience in mechanical or plant engineering
Adept at dealing with complex mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems
Good knowledge of English is mandatory
Additional foreign language skills are an advantage
PLC knowledge is an advantage (B&R control, Siemens S7)
Willingness to travel for international service assignments in Irish & UK territory (approx. *****% travel activity) and internationally ********%)
