We are currently seeking a visionary Structural Lead to steer our growing structures team. This is more than a management role; it is a chance to shape the technical direction of the firm, mentor the next generation of engineers, and deliver landmark projects across the country.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Take full ownership of the division’s operational performance and report directly to executive leadership.
Team Empowerment: Cultivate a high-performing team of engineers and technicians through mentorship, recruitment, and professional development.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Act as the bridge between structural engineering and other disciplines to ensure seamless, world-class delivery on complex infrastructure projects.
Business Growth: Strengthen client relationships and lead high‑stakes tenders to secure our future pipeline.
Qualifications
Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) with a Level 8 or higher degree.
Deep technical experience in structural engineering.
Commercial acumen and leadership presence to manage and coach a high-performing, growing team.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Proven track record of delivering complex projects to the highest standards of client satisfaction.
Experience with another consultancy and, preferably, in the water sector.
