Senior Business Analyst
Location: Dublin 1, Hybrid (3 days remote/2 days onsite)
Start: Mid Feb
Duration: 6 to 18 months
Must have/Manditory:
1. 7+ years of extensive professional Business analysis experience
2. You must hold professional qualifications in Business Analysis
The Senior Business Analyst should:
3. Have a strong theoretical base in business analysis, with ability to apply best practice principles to the subject matter context.
4. Acts as the senior responsible person with respect to business analysis on major client engagements.
5. Have experience in leading complex ICT projects/programmes.
6. Take responsibility for leading on the business analysis function within the Digital Transformation unit, including the ability to coordinate contributions of other specialists to complete a joint project.
Key Deliverables
7. Leads the review and analysis of the organisation's business intentions, services, processes and information needs to identify changes that lead to business improvements and digital transformation.
8. Provides clear and intuitive documentation when defining existing and future business processes ad ensure documentation is stored in a logical manner.
9. Establishes the contribution that technology can make to business objectives, defining strategies, validating and justifying business needs.
10. Conducts feasibility studies, producing high-level and detailed business models of current business processes (as-is) and the future state (to-be).
11. Prepares detailed specifications and oversees development and implementation of solutions, taking into account the implications of change on the organisation and all stakeholders.
12. Liaises with management regarding the delivery of process and organisational change.
13. Provide regular updates to management, project boards and stakeholders.
Experience, Competencies & Skillsets
14. Has excellent interpersonal skills and has the ability to engage with business units and elicit information and document current (as-is) and future (to-be) business processes.
15. Has experience working with business analysis tools to define as-is and to-be business processes using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) (e.g. Microsoft Visio or equivalent)
16. Has experience analysing current business processes and identifying key technological efficiencies.
17. Has experience working in a technical environment on diverse project teams alongside, developers, database architects, project managers, business units
18. Has excellent presentation skills and can present to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
19. Working on Business Transformation initiatives.
20. Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI.
21. Effective leadership and coordination role in a Business Analysis function.
22. Experience engaging a group of external clients during implementations.
