Sales Associate - Quad Bikes & Lawn Equipment - Co. Meath
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join the team, specialising in quad bikes (ATVs), ride-on mowers, push mowers, and outdoor power equipment. This role combines in-store sales with outbound telesales to ensure we reach and support both walk-in and remote customers. The ideal candidate will be confident on the telephone, possess strong product knowledge, and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist in-store customers in selecting quad bikes, lawnmowers, and accessories.
* Make outbound telesales calls to follow up on inquiries, promote offers, and re-engage past customers.
* Answer inbound telephone calls, provide product advice, and process telephone orders.
* Demonstrate equipment and explain safety features and operational procedures when in-store.
* Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, and customer interactions using CRM or sales logs.
* Process sales transactions accurately through the POS system or over the phone.
* Maintain clean and organised product displays and showroom presentation.
* Stay up to date with product knowledge, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
* Coordinate with service staff for equipment prep, servicing, or deliveries.
* Support stock control and participate in inventory counts.
* Build long-term customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in retail or telephone-based sales
* Confident and professional telephone manner.
* Strong communication and customer service skills, both in person and over the phone.
* A basic understanding of small engine mechanics and outdoor power equipment is an advantage.
* Computer literacy and experience with POS and CRM systems.
* Availability to work Saturdays and extended hours during peak seasons.
* Enjoys talking to people and thrives in a sales-focused environment.
* Proactive and target-driven with a strong work ethic.
* Enthusiastic about outdoor power equipment and vehicles.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
