Senior Speech Therapist - Community Services
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Speech Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
As a Senior Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering person-centered and evidence-based therapy interventions that promote effective communication and swallowing skills. You will work closely with members of the multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life of our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver individualized speech and language therapy sessions to service users
* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the needs of service users
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
* Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement
* Provide education and training to family members and caregivers
Requirements:
* Master's or Bachelor's degree in Clinical Speech and Language Studies or equivalent qualification
* Registration as a Speech and Language Therapist with CORU
* Membership or eligibility for membership of the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT)
* Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in speech and language therapy
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
