Job Description
As a C1 Class Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of construction site materials to various locations within Dublin and surrounding areas. This role requires a reliable and professional individual with a strong work ethic and excellent driving skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivery and Collection: Safely transport construction site materials to designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
* Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues promptly.
* Loading and Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring they are secured safely for transport.
* Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
* Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and site personnel.
* Compliance: Maintain compliance with all transport laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
* Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and vehicle inspection reports.
Requirements
* License: Valid C1 driving license.
* Experience: Proven experience as a C1 class driver, preferably in a similar role involving the delivery of construction materials.
* Knowledge: Familiarity with Dublin and surrounding areas is advantageous.
* Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and handle heavy materials as required.
* Skills: Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Attributes: Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
* Good communication skills.
