Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a comprehensive e‑commerce strategy across digital, marketing and customer service that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives.
* Drive delivery of online sales targets through detailed data‑led analysis of performance drivers and appropriate actions.
* Create an online measurement framework to manage performance of active online shoppers, their spend and frequency of purchase and use insights to improve performance.
* Lead and mentor a team of Digital, e‑Commerce, Marketing and Customer Service specialists, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance and inclusive culture.
* Manage and allocate OpEx budget with a clear focus on ROI.
* Build, optimise and execute customer lifecycle strategy.
* Design and implement a leading wholesale digital online experience through on‑site merchandising, promotional activities and incremental website improvements.
* Research and define the wholesale sales and marketing proposition and drive initiatives that attract customers to the service.
* Partner with Musgrave Wholesale Partners across retail and foodservice to understand problems and develop plans to overcome challenges.
* Work closely with the management team to understand business needs and translate them into effective e‑commerce campaigns across all online and offline platforms.
* Analyse market trends and customer insights to inform e‑commerce strategies and tactics.
* Ensure brand consistency across all e‑commerce channels and communications.
* Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making data‑driven decisions to optimise performance and impact.
* Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and innovations to keep the company at the forefront of the market.
Qualifications
* 10+ years progressive experience in e‑commerce, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
* Proven track record as a strategic leader who establishes relationships quickly and collaborates effectively across the business.
* Experience working in fast‑paced, complex business environments and delivering high‑quality business outcomes.
* Strong people management and team leadership skills, with the ability to lead by example and develop a strong team approach.
* Proficiency in digital marketing, including social media, email marketing and SEO.
* Experience managing an e‑commerce budget and optimising resources.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
* Creative thinker with a passion for e‑commerce and innovation.
* Able to present ideas and concepts coherently and effectively.
* Energetic – a sense of urgency, proactive with a strong work ethic.
* Degree in E‑Commerce, Business or a related field, or relevant experience.
