This role is ideal for someone who has an appetite to learn new challenging technical concepts and the desire to become a subject-matter expert in our product.ResponsibilitiesBecome a subject matter expert in our productCollaborate with Product managers, engineers, and designers to gain an in-depth understanding of our product, identify documentation needs and opportunities from a customer-centric viewManage multiple documentation tasks in any given sprintContribute to other technical knowledge articles at DoiTParticipate in tooling and process improvementsRequirements4+ years experience in writing, editing, and reviewing technical documentation for B2B SaaS productsProven ability to gather information from multiple channels, dive deep, and synthesize the information into a cohesive narrativeProven ability to operate with flexibility, in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environmentSelf-organized and a self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough and tenaciousExperience building documentation websites with static site generators and markup languages like Markdown/MDX; proficiency with docs-as-code tools like GitHubUnderstanding of API best practices; familiar with API specs and documentation toolsExcellent communication skills in English, both written and verbalBonus PointsBasic understanding of cloud technology, e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, KubernetesExperience and knowledge of DocOpsA great sense of humor and enjoys having fun at workAre you a Do’er?Be your truest self.
