As a highly skilled Building Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of all building services including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other critical systems. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of our buildings.
Key responsibilities include:
• Overseeing the maintenance and operation of all building services to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Developing and implementing maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the proper functioning and longevity of building services equipment.
• Conducting regular inspections and assessments of building services to identify and address any issues or potential problems.
• Managing and overseeing a team of maintenance staff, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to carry out their duties effectively.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards pertaining to building services and facilities maintenance.
• Collaborating with other departmental managers to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption to healthcare operations.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in building services management, preferably in a regulated environment.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other building services.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of maintenance staff.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and standards related to building services and facilities maintenance.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
