Role Overview: As an AML Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and policies. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify risks, conduct due diligence, and support the firm's efforts to maintain the highest standards of ethical practice.
Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough client due diligence (CDD) and know-your-customer (KYC) checks in line with AML regulations.
* Review and analyse documentation to verify client identities and assess risk levels.
* Monitor transactions for suspicious activity and escalate concerns as necessary.
* Assist in the development and implementation of AML policies, procedures, and training programs.
* Stay up-to-date with changes in AML legislation and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance across all areas of the business.
* Prepare reports for internal audits and regulatory reviews.
Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business, or a related field.
* Must have at least 3 years experience in AML/KYC compliance within a legal or financial services environment.
* Strong knowledge of Irish and EU AML regulations.
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with compliance software is a plus.
