Overview
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join a team focused on testing third-party applications—including games, web, consumer, and professional apps—on new Mac hardware platforms. This role involves both manual and automated testing, with a strong emphasis on Audio/Video workflows and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
Lead QA Duties: act as the primary point of contact for QA activities; ensure test cases are clearly understood and executed to specification; provide feedback on test execution and bug reports; submit internal weekly reports on time and in line with guidelines.
General QA Responsibilities: execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans across various Mac hardware; perform functional, compatibility, regression, and exploratory testing; conduct thorough application testing, including Audio/Video workflows; validate fixes and verify bug resolutions through manual verification; collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to drive quality improvements.
Deliverables: execute assigned test cases as per specification and schedule; report issues with detailed reproduction steps and logs; communicate clearly and effectively with the team.
Key Skills
macOS Expertise: Strong familiarity with Apple Mac hardware and software.
QA Methodologies: Solid understanding of test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
Manual & Automated Testing: Experience with both approaches.
Test Case Development: Ability to write reusable and detailed test cases.
Hardware Testing: Skilled in testing across multiple Mac configurations.
Python: Proficiency in scripting for automation and data analysis.
Communication: Clear reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
