We are currently seeking a dedicated Paediatric Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our committed team at Children's Health Ireland (CHI) in Dublin.
CHI is the national centre for paediatric emergency care, delivering specialist services to children and young people from across Ireland. The Paediatric Emergency Department at CHI sees over 30,000 attendances annually, making it one of the busiest and most advanced paediatric EDs in the country. The department manages a wide spectrum of presentations, from minor injuries to complex critical cases, and plays a central role in the acute paediatric network.

Responsibilities
Providing clinical care and overseeing governance for all ED patients
Providing strategic leadership within paediatric emergency services
Fostering a culture of mentorship, teaching, and collaboration within the Emergency Department
Participating in the Emergency Medicine department rotas
Collaborating effectively with all other consultants within CHI to ensure the delivery of high‑quality emergency care
Qualifications
Registered or eligible to register with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) under the Specialist Division
Relevant experience as a Paediatric Emergency Medicine Specialist/Consultant
