Morgan McKinley are recruiting for an Inside Sales Engineer for a company in Limerick. The Inside Sales Engineer is the primary point of contact for the Regional Sales Managers and Sales Representatives and collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments to respond to customer inquiries. The suitable candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or other industrial related). They will have previous technical sales administration experience and/or experience in applications of industrial equipment for processing plants. Experience in sales or customer service in an engineered manufacturing environment with proven success in administrating contracts. Day to day duties of the role: * Review customer specifications and documents to select appropriate technical solutions for a given application. * Perform sizing calculations for specified equipment * Manage inquiries from worldwide distributors and customers and generate quotations within specified time frame. * Work with Engineering by providing technical details of the application to generate pricing * Using the CRM database and will be responsible for cataloguing daily activities * Prepare discount requests for Management approval when required. * Ad-hoc project and administrative duties as assigned.. * Support the quotation activities * Interacting with the manufacturing, engineering, and Quality departments for responding to the customer quality requirements. Essential Requirements: * Self-starting, proactive and ability to achieve objectives with minimal supervision. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills. * Customer focused.
