About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced EHS Engineer to join a leading global healthcare client based in Co. Sligo. As part of this team, you will play a key role in investigations and remedial actions associated with EHS&E related accidents/incidents. You will also be responsible for co-ordinating inspections by regulatory bodies and assisting in the coordination of contractors where there is an EHS&E impact.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure EHS&E global management standards are met and all EHS&E procedures are adhered to
">
* Comply with safety and environmental legislation, procedures, and standards by maintaining up-to-date EHS&E documentation
">
* Play a leading role in investigations and remedial actions associated with EHS&E related accidents/incidents

* Co-ordinate inspections by regulatory bodies as required
">
* Assist in the co-ordination of contractors where there is an EHS&E impact
">
* Educate and engage employees in efforts to optimize EHS&E performance

* Promote continuous improvement in all environmental and safety matters

* Maintain permit completion in compliance with laws and regulations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

A qualification in Environmental Science/Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline
