The Role
The Corporate Communications Senior Manager supports the International Beverages organization by shaping, developing, and executing integrated brand and corporate communications. The role ensures message consistency, enhances brand reputation, drives earned media strategy, and aligns cross‑functional partners across global, regional, and market teams.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Working On
Brand & Product Communications
Lead integrated communications strategy across brand launches, global campaigns, sports partnerships, and market moments.
Develop messaging frameworks, toolkits, and PR assets for use across international markets.
Partner with Global Marketing, Insights, R&D, Legal and Market Communications to ensure aligned narratives and compliant claims.
PR & Earned Media Strategy
Shape earned media plans for consumer, trade, entertainment and culture outlets.
Manage agency partners (PR, influencer, creative) including briefing, output review, SOW/fee alignment, and campaign execution.
Identify and secure high‑impact storytelling moments across priority markets.
Brand Comms Issues, Governance & Risk Management
Coordinate with the Issues & Media Center of Excellence and Legal to develop holding statements, FAQs, and risk mitigation guidance and ensure markets receive consistent, accurate communications protocols and escalation paths.
Cross‑Functional & Market Alignment
Act as a liaison between Global Beverages, regional communications teams, Market Corporate Affairs, Sports Partnerships, and Brand Marketing.
Manage global‑to‑local and local‑to‑global comms flow, approvals and cross‑market sharing.
Support planning cycles, reporting, and executive visibility.
Talent, Influencer & Partnerships Coordination
Oversee influencer strategy, casting alignment, content approvals, and paid partnership processes in collaboration with agencies.
Coordinate with Sports Partnerships for athlete‑related content capture, press engagement and guidelines.
Internal Communications & Reputation
Translate external narratives into internal stories for employee channels.
Provide talking points, key messages, FAQs and internal updates supporting major brand or corporate moments.
Qualifications
Who’s a Great Fit for the Team
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field.
Extensive experience in brand communications, PR, or corporate affairs in a matrixed global organization.
Strong writing, storytelling and editorial judgement.
Previous experience managing agencies (PR, creative, influencer or integrated).
Experience navigating issues, reputational considerations and multi‑market governance.
Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in consumer brands, FMCG or entertainment/sports marketing.
Multi‑market communications experience.
Strong understanding of influencer ecosystems, social content formats and cultural trends.
Ability to manage rapid timelines and high‑ambiguity environments.
