About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement & Merchandising professional to lead our end-to-end procurement and merchandising operations. This key role will be responsible for sourcing goods and materials, negotiating terms with suppliers, and managing supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Source and procure high-quality goods and materials to meet company standards for quality, cost, and delivery.
* Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve competitive advantages.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and optimal inventory management.
* Monitor stock levels and implement replenishment strategies to maintain optimal inventory.
* Analyse sales trends and customer demand to develop effective merchandise plans.
Requirements:
* Experience in retail, wholesale, or FMCG sectors preferred.
* Strong Administrative experience
* Proven background in vendor negotiation, merchandising planning, and inventory control.
Skills & Competencies:
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
* Sound knowledge of procurement and merchandising best practices.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
