Environmental Science Lead Role
At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Science Lead to support the continued growth of our environmental services. This key role will involve overseeing project management and delivery, providing expert technical guidance, and actively contributing to business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and managing project teams, reporting directly to a Director
* Overseeing project management and delivery of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEAs), Appropriate Assessments (AAs), planning application documentation, and other environmental reports
* Providing expert technical guidance on environmental matters across the business
* Actively contributing to business development efforts and supporting growth initiatives
Requirements:
* Degree-qualified in a relevant environmental discipline
* 12-15 years of post-graduate experience in an environmental role
* Chartered status in relevant professional discipline
* Strong understanding of planning, environmental, and waste management legislation
* Demonstrated experience in project management and preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, planning applications, and licence/permit applications
* Proven experience in team leadership and client management
