About the Company
A leading Irish food manufacturing business supplying both local and global markets is seeking a Trainee Sales Executive.
The company operates across farming, processing, and value-added production, giving you the opportunity to learn every stage of the industry before moving into a full commercial sales role.
About the Role
The Trainee Sales Executiverole offers a structured 18-month programme designed to develop your skills in product knowledge, commercial negotiations, customer relationship management, and international sales.
You will work closely with the Head of Sales and gain hands-on experience across production, planning, logistics, and finance.
After the 18- month programme you will have a permanent role on the sales/commercial team.
Key Responsibilities:
Learn the full product range and manufacturing processes Support day-to-day sales activities, pricing, and commercial negotiations Build strong customer relationships through regular communication Assist with account management, sales administration, and order processing Participate in production planning and ensure accurate customer documentation
Requirements
Ambitious and eager to learn in a commercial sales environment Strong communication and relationship-building skills Good numerical ability and attention to detail Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks Degree in a business-related field preferred (not essential)
