Project Manager Position Overview
A reputable contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a residential development project in Kilkenny. Key responsibilities include managing on-site operations, coordinating subcontractors and materials, maintaining and tracking project schedules, implementing quality control procedures, enforcing health and safety standards, and acting as main point of contact for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all on-site activities, ensuring effective coordination among subcontractors and material suppliers.
* Monitor and track project timelines, guaranteeing timely completion of work.
* Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure adherence to project specifications.
* Ensure strict compliance with health and safety protocols; conduct regular site inspections and promptly address any issues.
* Act as primary liaison between stakeholders and the project team.
* Proactively identify and resolve potential project obstacles.
Requirements:
* Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* Equivalent industry experience may also be considered.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in site or project management.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, building regulations, and site operations.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proven leadership and team coordination capabilities.
* Proficiency with construction management tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera) is advantageous.
