You will enable underwriters to focus on growth by ensuring operational processes run efficiently, onboarding is well managed, and client issues are resolved proactively and commercially.You will shape the vision, structure, and performance of the team while embedding accountability, continuous improvement, and client-centric delivery.ResponsibilitiesRecruit, lead, coach, and develop a team of Client Service ManagersBuild a high-performance, accountable and solution-focused cultureOversee onboarding of new clients, schemes, and delegated authority arrangementsAct as senior escalation point for complex operational and client issuesDesign, document and continuously improve client service processesDevelop and monitor KPIs to support underwriting and client performanceProactively identify and resolve performance issues (e.g. data quality, debt, bordereaux, operational friction)Build strong relationships with clients, underwriting, senior management and operational functionsUse data-driven insight and lean principles to drive continuous improvementReport regularly to senior leadership on performance and strategic progressRequirementsExperienceProven experience leading high-performing teams within a matrix organisationStrong background in insurance operations, ideally within delegated authority environmentsDemonstrable client relationship management experience in insurance or financial servicesExperience delivering complex, client-facing projectsStrong understanding of underwriting processes and operational workflowsCommercially aware with the ability to influence senior stakeholdersSkills & CompetenciesExcellent communication and facilitation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilityAbility to stand out in client and senior leadership settingsSound judgement with clear escalation decision-makingExperience driving change and continuous improvement initiativesStrong collaboration across cross-functional teamsQualifications (Desirable)ACII (or equivalent insurance qualification)PRINCE2, PMP or Agile certification
