Become part of our Finance Team as we establish our new site in Athenry! In the role of FP&A Financial Analyst, you will gain exposure to Oracle system implementations, process development, and cross-functional problem solving. This position offers a chance to influence financial performance and advance your career within a dynamic environment, emphasizing innovation and continuous improvement.
Your Responsibilities
1. Generate accurate financial reports supporting KPIs and trends (e.g., P&L, Balance Sheet, Headcount, Capital Expenditure).
2. Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning for the site team.
3. Coordinate with GBS and finance during month-end close for accuracy and timeliness.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze key reports and metrics.
5. Maintain control systems ensuring compliance with policies, SOX, and GAAP.
6. Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and standardize processes.
7. Manage financial databases and reporting tools to ensure data integrity.
8. Apply advanced Excel skills and financial software for data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications for Success
1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) required.
2. 2-5 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, management reporting, and budgeting.
4. Excellent collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
5. Experience with ERP systems, especially Oracle, is advantageous.
6. Effective communication and presentation skills for non-financial stakeholders.
7. Enthusiasm for process improvement, automation, and standard procedures.
