About the role


We're looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join our team on a 15-month maternity cover contract at our Charleville plant, a key facility specializing in cheese production within Kerry's extensive dairy portfolio. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a collaborative environment where your expertise in production or transport scheduling will make a real impact.

After onboarding, this position offers a hybrid work model, 3 days onsite and 2 days from home. The role is full-time (900–1700) and designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.


Key responsibilities


1. Review weekly production requirements and schedule production efficiently to meet customer demand
2. Monitor daily adherence to the production schedule and adjust priorities as needed to maintain supply continuity
3. Support the Materials team in daily operations
4. Manage purchase orders for specific materials and consumables, including invoice reconciliation
5. Capture and maintain accurate order information in SAP, from order creation to invoicing
6. Liaise daily with suppliers, operations, production, warehousing, and Quality teams to achieve common production goals
7. Plan and coordinate transport and logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries
8. Oversee stock management to maintain lean working capital
9. Provide support to regional and global procurement functions.


Qualifications and skills


10. Previous experience in a supply chain ideally within a manufacturing environment
11. Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ideally SAP or similar ERP experience
12. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver on time
13. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
14. Good numeracy skills with the ability to record, interpret, and analyse data
15. Adaptability and flexibility to succeed in evolving environment.
