Sales Advisor – Home Energy Upgrades

Are you passionate about renewable energy and helping homeowners make informed, energy-efficient decisions? We're looking for a confident and personable Sales Advisor to join our clients dynamic team based in Mallow, assisting clients in navigating SEAI grant schemes and planning their home energy upgrade journey.
The Role:
As a Sales Advisor, you will guide homeowners through energy upgrade proposals, discussing pricing, project timelines, and recommending tailored measures that maximise return on investment. This role involves strong collaboration with internal teams (Analytics, Design, Documentation) to ensure projects are accurately scoped and smoothly executed.
You'll primarily operate under the One Stop Shop, Community Energy Grants (CEG), Better Energy Homes (BEH), and Vacant & Derelict schemes, helping both homeowners and professionals understand available options. While prior knowledge of SEAI grants and BERs is an advantage, full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build relationships with prospective clients from inbound leads, referrals, and events
2. Conduct virtual consultations to assess energy needs and offer tailored solutions
3. Present detailed proposals including pricing, grant options, and timelines
4. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth project planning and handover
5. Meet or exceed sales targets through clear communication and solution-focused selling
About You:
6. Proven sales experience (preferably in energy, construction, or home improvement)
7. Strong understanding of energy efficiency products (or willingness to learn)
8. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
9. Ability to explain technical information in a simple, engaging way
10. Familiarity with CRM tools to manage leads and sales activities
