We have moved to a modern Microsoft based environment for our Digital Workplace and critical content management applications. We are now hiring a
Modern Workplace Business Analyst
to support the delivery, enhancement, and governance of Microsoft based solutions across automation, analytics, and AI.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Enterprise Architect, this role focuses on improving business productivity through technology. You will combine strong business analysis skills with a practical understanding of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform capabilities.
Key areas of this role:
* Understand business needs and collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to shape solutions—translating requirements into actionable work and supporting the M365 vision and roadmap for processes and applications.
* Manage and coordinate a pipeline of automation, workflow, low-code, and AI-enabled initiatives.
* Work closely with the development team and maintain effective stakeholder engagement for the delivery of business technology projects.

Key Responsibilities
* Stakeholder Engagement:
Foster robust, collaborative partnerships across business units. Lead workshops and conduct user interviews to thoroughly assess requirements, identify challenges, and map existing workflows. Ensure transparent communication of priorities and project updates.
* Process & Solution Improvement:
Recognise and pursue Modern Workplace opportunities leveraging M365, Power Platform, Co-pilot for M365 and other appropriate Microsoft Cloud technologies., When appropriate, use Microsoft low-code/no code products to develop proof of concept or prototype solutions.
* Solution Design & Delivery:
Produce comprehensive and well-structured functional design documentation for proposed solutions, and support testing, release, and change management activities throughout the delivery lifecycle.
* Continuous Improvement:
Maintain current knowledge of the Microsoft 365 roadmap and emerging Modern Workplace technologies.
* Project Management:
Lead modern workplace projects by defining scope, developing timelines, allocating resources, managing risks and issues, and delivering clear status updates.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
* 3–5 years' experience as a Business Analyst in a modern applications or Digital Workplace team.
* Strong background in process analysis, requirements gathering, and user engagement.
* Solid understanding of low code design patterns and M365, Power Platform, PowerApps, Co-pilot for M365 and other Modern Workplace Microsoft Cloud technologies.
* Familiarity with Agile, product lifecycle management, backlog management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging at all levels.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively with stakeholders and deliver high quality solutions within deadlines with the flexibility needed as part of a small team.
