Lead Policy Strategist
This role presents a fantastic opportunity to shape public policy and drive communications for a National Representative body. As Lead Policy Strategist, you will oversee core business activities including policy development, internal and external communications, lobbying, public affairs, marketing, and media management.
About the Role:
* Create and implement policy strategies that positively influence public policy.
* Manage grassroots campaigns and lead efforts to empower members.
* Support high-level representations to government officials and stakeholders.
* Engage with media outlets to secure input and facilitate queries.
* Conduct research, gather intelligence, and produce briefing notes and summaries.
* Develop and execute national PR/Marketing initiatives to engage membership and promote the sector.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media, or related field.
2. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
3. Able to craft clear content and meet deadlines effectively.
4. Critical thinking and ability to identify and present data effectively.
5. Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
