As an Analog Devices semiconductor Technician, you will play an integral role in the successful production of ADI products that transform how the world works, plays, and communicates. At our Limerick site, we manufacture Integrated Circuits used in various electronics from industrial to consumer devices.

This role will be situated in our cleanroom class 10 Wafer Fabrication facility and will require successful applicants to perform duties including:

* Assist in Tool repair both planned and unplanned
* Assist in Root cause troubleshooting and fault finding to component level
* Assist in ongoing tool development and enhancement
* Drive improvement projects independently and as part of a team
* Work with a coach/mentor in practical hardware investigation and resolution
* Present on completed work, learnings, and recommendations
* Work from technical manuals, specifications, drawings, schematics, and instructions using various tools & test equipment
* Communicate effectively and present issues and solutions confidently
* Work well in a diverse team and handle multiple tasks
* Work with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities

The tools involved include Electronics, High Vacuum, Pneumatics, and Robotics. Some onsite tools include:

* TEL Tracks
* Nikon Steppers
* Semitool Wet Chemistry Platforms

This is a rotating shift role with a competitive shift premium.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Education: Building towards bachelor’s degrees (NFQ Level 7) or Honours Bachelor’s degrees (NFQ Level 8). Level 6 Technical qualification with relevant experience
* Experience: Understanding of regulated environments or equipment maintenance in manufacturing. Hand tool experience is a plus
* Strong troubleshooting skills (Root Cause Analysis, Problem Solving, 5-why) and First Time Right repair skills
* Ability to follow preventative maintenance and Standard Work procedures
* Basic understanding of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is advantageous
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Willingness to work a 5-cycle shift pattern
