Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist The EHS Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of my client's Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) systems.
This role ensures compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and industry standards across the company's operations.

Responsibilities Support the rollout, documentation, and ongoing maintenance of the Safety Management System across all sites.
Regularly review and update the Safety Statement, SMS documents, and procedures to reflect current business needs and regulatory requirements.
Provide expert guidance on compliance with chemical regulations such as REACH, CLP, ADR, COMAH, and the Chemical Agents Regulations.
Implement, maintain, and improve the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
Conduct regular environmental audits and monitor follow-up actions, recommending improvements to support sustainability goals.
Act as a member of the Crisis Management Team when EHS expertise is required.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Science, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
A postgraduate qualification in EHS is preferred if the primary degree is not EHS-specific.
2-5 years of relevant experience in EHS roles.
Background in highly regulated industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, logistics, food, waste, or semiconductors is preferred.
Experience implementing and maintaining EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001).
