The acquisition enables the Group to deliver a broader range of services to their clients to include insurance, wealth management, pensions, investments, employee benefits and mortgage advisory services to private individuals and commercial clients nationally.
The Finance One business merged with LHK in September ****.
Our business operates from two Leinster based locations, Dublin and Drogheda.
Core Role Objective
As a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Advisor, the candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive mortgage advice to clients.
From Fact-find and affordability assessment to recommendation, application, approval and drawdown.
Key Responsibilities
Client Advisory & Suitability
Conduct comprehensive fact-finds, KYC/AML checks and affordability assessments
Provide regulated mortgage advice to first-time buyers, movers, switchers, self-build, buy-to-let applicants.
Application Management
Prepare, submit and track mortgage applications, liaising with lenders, solicitors, valuers and internal team
Proactively manage pipeline from AIP to drawdown, resolving documentation and underwriting queries.
Market & Product Expertise
Maintain up to date knowledge of lender criteria, rates, incentives.
Sales & Relationship
Build a referral network (estate agents, accountants, developers) and nurture client relationships for repeat/switch opportunities.
Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with case managers/administrators for seamless client experience.
Contribute to process improvements and share market insights with the team.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Achieve agreed annual sales targets.
Record all activity on the internal reporting tools and remain disciplined to the sales process.
Networking – internally with other business units, within the sector, and with external specialists.
Adhere to regulatory requirements in all aspects of day-to-day work and to the business ethics of the company.Maintain up to date client records and ensure high standard of client files on the dedicated CRM system.
Adherence to the LHK values and a commitment to maintaining and developing the brand integrity at all times.
Necessary Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (desirable)
Industry Specific Qualifications: QFA (essential)
Technical knowledge of all financial products in the marketplace
Ideally 3–5 years sales experience within the Mortgage industry, preferably in a broker environment
Proven track record of working to and achieving annual sales targets
Good understanding of relevant regulatory requirements
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain solid client relationships
Strong self-awareness and self-presentation
Professional demeanor
Proficient IT skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Work well under pressure and as part of a team
Compliant with CPD requirements
Remuneration
Salary will be commensurate with experience
