Position Summary
The successful candidate will join a fast-paced engineering team working across multiple Stryker Divisions. They will have opportunities for development through internal and external training programs and to grow their career in a dynamic production environment.
What you will do:
1. Support process development and cost reduction activities within the business units.
2. Foster a work environment of continuous improvement supporting Stryker's Quality Policy, Quality System, and manufacturing regulations.
3. Own plant metrics from an engineering perspective.
4. Provide technical and operational support to manufacturing operations.
5. Leverage structured problem-solving methodologies.
6. Implement lean manufacturing practices.
What you will need:
Required
* Level 8 Honours Degree in an Engineering discipline.
* 0 to 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Desired
* Experience in CNC machining, Process Validation, Coating, or Clean and Pack is preferable but not essential.
* Effective decision-making and leadership abilities, with negotiation and influencing skills.
* Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
* Proven project management skills through delivering cost-saving or process improvement projects.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with tangible results.
* Ability to prioritize issues based on business needs and manage multiple tasks and projects.
