Job Title: Mechanical Design EngineerMCS Group is proud to be working with a leading manufacturing company based in Mid-Ulster to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Role Overview: As a design engineer, you will develop ideas for new products and production systems, as well as improve the performance and efficiency of existing products.
Responsibilities & DutiesTurn research ideas into detailed designs for production.Re-engineer designs to enhance production efficiency and reduce manufacturing time.Write and present engineering reports on various design aspects.Produce production specifications and engineering drawings.Develop knowledge of relevant legislation and incorporate these into designs.Participate in design review meetings.Apply continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.Essential CriteriaDegree in Engineering or a related field.Previous experience in design or product development.Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably heavy engineering/machinery.Proficiency in CAD software (Autodesk).Legal right to work in Ireland/UK.Why Join Us?Competitive salary (DOE).Enhanced holiday entitlement.Early finish on Fridays.Opportunities for development and growth.Full details will be provided upon application.
