Dromoland Castle Resort, one of Ireland's most prestigious five‑star hotels, is recruiting for full‑time and part‑time accommodation positions. The successful candidate will be part of a diverse team delivering and maintaining five‑star accommodation standards.
The role of Accommodation Assistants working schedule is Monday - Sunday working 5 over 7 days which includes weekend work. Working Hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday / 9am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. Please note pending business requirements hours of work may differ.
Overview of the Role
Reporting to Accommodation Supervisors and Managers.
Cleaning hotel bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas.
Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Ensuring the smooth and professional cleaning and servicing of the premises – bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, public areas, toilets – presenting a clean, fresh and friendly environment to the highest standards, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
Qualifications & Attributes
Previous experience working in a similar environment.
Positive “Yes I can” attitude.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
High level of service standards and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
Friendly, chatty and outgoing personality.
High level of verbal and written English.
