As a Senior Manager - People Business Partner, you will be an agile leader, experienced coach, inclusion advocate, and a trusted strategic partner for leaders across various functions in Ireland.
You will translate Apple's vision and strategic priorities into actionable People strategies and solutions.
Description You will lead and develop a high-performing team of People Business Partners, fostering continuous learning and driving strategic execution across your functions.
You'll ensure initiatives integrate with regional and global priorities, championing an inclusive work environment that supports engagement and belonging.
As an integral member of the People and business leadership team, you will strengthen our PBP operating model and build critical partnerships across the broader People ecosystem, leveraging your vision to create a workplace where everyone belongs and thrives.
This role involves co-creating, leading, facilitating key people programs, implementing strategic People initiatives for your designated business group(s) across Ireland.
You will partner closely with local, regional, and global business leaders, as well as all People functions, to deliver high-impact solutions.
Responsibilities Strategic People Partnership: Advance connected People strategies by deeply understanding business priorities, Apple's culture, and translating them into actionable solutions.
Leadership & Team Development: Enable effective leadership to build and develop high-performing teams, fostering a supportive and empowering environment.
Operational Excellence: Deliver core People processes, programs, and tools with intention and operational effectiveness.
Organisational Development: Drive organisational effectiveness and efficiency, advising senior leaders and designing talent and goal-setting strategies.
Change Management: Lead and coach leaders and teams through change initiatives, fostering agility and ensuring exceptional employee experiences.
Talent Management: Oversee all aspects of talent and performance management, including succession planning, reviews, and improvements, aligned with Apple culture and local requirements.
Inclusion: Cultivate an inclusive culture, integrate I&D into business strategies, and act as a change agent to leverage diversity as a strength.
Employee Relations: Collaborate with the ER function to manage employee issues, policies, investigations, and reorganisations, ensuring compliance.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Optimise talent acquisition and onboarding for your client groups, ensuring excellent experiences and integration.
Compensation & Benefits: Partner with business leaders and C&B teams to lead annual salary planning, and continuously refine strategies through effective feedback loops.
People Analytics: Design and implement data-driven practices to monitor people trends, build business acumen, and recommend program enhancements.
Strategic Contribution & Oversight: Participate in establishing strategic plans and objectives for your functional area, making final decisions on administrative and operational matters within your scope.
Team Leadership: Develop, coach, mentor a team of People Business Partners to drive effective strategies within their lines of business.
Ensure that our people priorities are understood and executed across each LOB.
Minimum Qualifications Demonstrated success in a strategic HR leadership role; Established career progression within a People function; Extensive background operating within large, complex organisations; Adept at navigating and guiding within matrixed structures; Robust collaboration with international teams and leveraging Centres of Excellence; Expertise in designing, implementing, and scaling core HR programs effectively, including talent management, succession planning, and performance management; Proven capability in organisational development and change management; Successful history of developing and driving high-impact employee engagement initiatives; Capacity to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders; Keen business acumen; Exceptional communication and presentation skills; Excellent coaching and mentoring abilities.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in the technology sector, particularly within dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative environments; International or multi-regional HR expertise; Advanced proficiency in people analytics and data visualisation tools; Familiarity with Workday or comparable HRIS platforms; Project management expertise in managing complex initiatives.
