We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the nursing department and ensuring that high-quality care is provided to residents.
* A minimum of 3 years experience as DON / ADON within the last 6 years is essential
* A post-registration qualification in healthcare management or equivalent is required
* No less than 5 years relevant post-registration nursing experience and 3 years (within the last 6 years) relevant experience caring for the older person is necessary
* A registered nurse on or eligible to be on the live register of nurses maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, NMBI is a must
* The ability to communicate effectively with residents, relatives/visitors, employees, management, and external bodies e.g. GPs, hospitals, HSE, HIQA, etc. is crucial
This is a rewarding role that offers a competitive salary of between €60,000 – €75,000 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications, performance based bonus, personal development plan, pension plan and other benefits.
