About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, hyper-curious digital native who thrives at the intersection of content creation, platform intelligence, and data-driven decision-making. You’ll own the full content lifecycle—from ideation to publishing and performance review—and be equally confident shooting a TikTok as you are explaining campaign insights to senior stakeholders. Most importantly, you’ll be skilled at analysing digital campaigns, extracting actionable insights, and turning data into strategic next steps.
Key Responsibilities:
* Scout, test, and recommend emerging platforms (Bluesky, Threads, Lemon8, etc.).
* Maintain live dashboards of cultural, social, and tech trends that influence content and campaign strategy.
Full-Stack Content Creation
* Produce high-volume, high-quality short-form video, carousels, motion graphics, and more.
* Write platform-specific copy and headlines that optimise for reach, relevance, and engagement.
Data, Analytics & Campaign Analysis
* Own analytics across GA4, social platforms, and third-party tools.
* Analyse digital campaigns end-to-end—what worked, what didn’t, and why.
* Run A/B tests on formats, creative hooks, and timing; use data to optimise future content.
* Develop weekly “insight-to-action” reports that clearly translate data into growth steps.
Community & Engagement
* Moderate and engage in real-time with communities to drive meaningful conversation and dwell time.
* Create playbooks for both proactive engagement and reactive/crisis scenarios.
Stakeholder & Client-Facing
* Present performance insights and creative strategy to senior leadership and public-sector stakeholders.
* Balance innovative, platform-native content with brand safety and tone considerations.
Process & Upskilling
* Streamline the content workflow from brief to post-mortem analysis.
* Mentor the wider team in using tools like CapCut, Premiere Rush, and emerging AI tools for content creation and campaign management.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
* Deep understanding of social and campaign analytics, including UTM tracking, GA4, social listening, and A/B testing frameworks.
* Strong ability to critically assess campaign performance and draw clear conclusions to guide next actions.
* Hands-on production experience—comfortable creating, editing, and optimising video and motion content.
* Demonstrated success in growing channels through data-led strategy (please share examples).
* Fluent in social culture—you know the latest hooks, memes, and algorithm shifts without having to Google.
* Clear communicator who can present to C-suite, TDs, or media without jargon.
Nice-to-Have
* Experience in public-sector or corporate communications.
* Familiarity with accessibility best practices, SEO for social, and paid social optimisation.
* Working knowledge of generative-AI tools for video, copy, and more.
Success After 6 Months
* Campaign and platform performance targets consistently met.
* Clear test-and-learn content roadmap in place.
* Proven ability to analyse campaign outcomes and inform future planning.
* Recognised internally as the go-to expert for performance insights and platform strategy.
