The key role of a Financial Services Specialist involves building and maintaining strong client relationships and overseeing client portfolios. This position requires exceptional relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
This role entails developing and preserving robust client connections, handling accounting tasks including corporation tax and income tax, and assisting in the training of junior financial professionals. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will identify and address client needs with effective solutions and prepare quarterly management accounts for clients. Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and nurturing long-term client relationships.
* Executing various accounting services such as corporation tax and income tax.
* Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
* Identifying and addressing client needs with innovative solutions.
* Preparing comprehensive quarterly management reports for high-profile clients.
Requirements for this position include:
- Hold ACA/ACCA/CTA qualifications.
- Possess 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in a similar financial services role.
- Have expertise in producing accurate financial statements in accordance with current accounting standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS principles.
- Possess proficiency in Surf Accounts Production and Xero software is an advantage.
