Job Title: Experienced Chef - Temporary Position
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting an experienced and adaptable chef for a temporary position in Douglas Co. Cork.
* This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is passionate about food, and thrives in busy kitchen environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with menu and client specifications.
2. Maintain consistency and quality across different kitchens and service styles.
3. Ensure food is prepared in line with HACCP standards and all health and safety regulations.
4. Work efficiently both independently and as part of various kitchen teams.
5. Keep kitchen areas clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
6. Assist with stock management and menu support as needed at each site.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef in high-volume or fast-paced kitchens.
* Strong culinary skills and the ability to hit the ground running in new environments.
* Flexibility to work various shifts - early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A proactive and adaptable attitude.
* Manual Handling and Food Safety Level 2 certification - training can be provided if needed.
