You will also partner with business leaders and their teams in our Dublin office, providing them with vital care for their development and engagement.This is a full-time position reporting to the Director, HRBP for Engineering & Employee Relations. Our mission is to foster impactful and engaged teams that enable Etsy’s achievement of its long-term company strategy and goals.What does the day-to-day look like?Provide core HRBP services to Engineering leaders and their teams, from IC to Directs of our CTO, spanning Engineering squads in Ireland, the US and Mexico (as needed). Additionally, provide HRBP services to Finance, Legal and Customer Operations leaders and their teams based in Dublin, as neededAct as an ambassador our organizations mission, strategy, and our employee value proposition to our Dublin employee community.Partner with leaders to retain and develop talent, ensuring that roles, teams, and organizations are designed with business goals and talent development in mind.Drive our flagship People programs into your part of the business in accordance with intended outcomes, including talent planning, succession planning, annual review, development check-ins, as key examples.Identify and address employee relations issues in partnership with the Employee Relations team and/or Employment Counsel, ensuring legal and equitable resolution.Partner to drive and communicate organizational changes that cause minimal disruption to goal achievement and team engagement.Coach individual contributors and managers on performance management, career development, and healthy collaboration within and across teams.Track and analyze people data and present actionable insights that improve team performance, retention and engagement, partnering with our People Insights team.Interface between the business and Etsy’s Performance & Learning, DEI, Total Rewards, People Systems & Operations, People Insights, Workplace, and Communications teams to support the effective delivery of People programs and initiatives.Lead or participate in projects related to the improvement of the employee experience and workplace environment.Of course, this is just a sample of the kinds of work this role will require!
