Lead Nursing Role in Kilkenny
We are recruiting for a senior nursing leadership position within a respected and progressive nursing home in Kilkenny. As Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play a key role in supporting the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest standards of care, compliance, and team performance are consistently achieved.
About the Role
* Support the Director of Nursing in day-to-day clinical and operational management
* Lead, mentor, and motivate the nursing and care teams
* E nsure delivery of safe, person-centred care in line with HIQA standards
* Oversee care planning, medication management, and clinical audits
* Participate in policy development and quality improvement initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
You will have the opportunity to influence resident well-being, staff development, and overall service quality in a warm and supportive environment. The successful candidate will be an active NMBI registered nurse with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior nursing role, ideally within the care of the elderly sector. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills are essential.
