We’re recruiting an experienced Catering & Hospitality Supervisor who is passionate about exceptional food and world‑class customer service, and who can confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and hospitality operations for Compass Group Ireland on a full‑time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week.
As a Catering & Hospitality Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring our kitchens, service counters, and hospitality services run smoothly while helping to deliver truly incredible food and service experiences. Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organise, and prepare equipment, food, and displays
Coordinate closely with kitchen and service teams across multiple buildings to ensure timely preparation and delivery
Deliver food and beverages to meeting and hospitality spaces with exceptional attention to detail and presentation
Supervise daily catering and hospitality operations to ensure smooth service delivery
Ensure all hospitality areas are clean, well‑stocked, and visually appealing at all times
Schedule, manage, and prioritise work to meet service timelines and client expectations
Foster strong teamwork and collaboration across departments, including kitchen, floor, and PA teams
Train, support, and mentor team members to maintain high standards of service and customer care
Act as a key point of contact for customers, responding to queries or concerns promptly and professionally
Liaise with management to monitor KPIs and service performance
Implement and review Health & Safety, food safety, and hygiene standards to ensure full compliance
Represent Compass Group UK&I professionally, maintaining a positive brand image at all times
About You:
Have previous experience in a hotel, catering, or hospitality supervisory role
Be passionate about great‑tasting food and delivering outstanding customer service
Have experience leading or supervising teams in a similar environment
Demonstrate strong organisational and time‑management skills
Possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluent English
Be able to manage multiple tasks and work calmly under pressure
Be a positive, motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills
Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate (or equivalent)
Show ambition and a desire to continuously develop and upskill
