An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
Senior Process Engineer
to join a leading global medical device multinational on an
18-month contract.
This role focuses on supporting and advancing manufacturing engineering activities, driving innovation, and optimising processes to deliver high-quality products and improved operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Recommend and implement equipment and process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and production yields
Integrate equipment and material capabilities to meet process and technology specifications
Collaborate with product design and development teams to ensure compatibility with manufacturing processes
Review product development requirements to determine feasibility, cost, and timelines
Lead the development, innovation, and optimisation of manufacturing processes and concepts for transfer to operations
Conduct feasibility studies, including material selection, process development, and equipment/tooling specification and installation
Develop and apply statistical process control methodologies and measurement systems
Perform data analysis and recommend process improvements based on findings
Ensure all processes comply with relevant regulatory and quality standards
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent international qualification)
Typically 4+ years' medical device experience, or 2+ years with an advanced degree
Strong technical expertise combining practical and theoretical knowledge
Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration is advantageous
